Position Summary
Our company is an aerospace investment casting (lost-wax) foundry supporting major OEMs and their sub-tier machine shops. The Sales Administrator serves as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, managing order entry, quoting, and scheduling to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time.
This is a customer service and account management role rather than a traditional outbound sales position, as the company does not solicit new business in the conventional sense. The Sales Administrator is the customer's main point of contact for order and schedule inquiries, and is responsible for coordinating internally to ensure timely, accurate responses.
Pay Rate: $32.00 - 40.00/hr. (DOE)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and assigned customer accounts, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals
- Enter and manage customer orders within the company ERP system
- Prepare and process customer quotes
- Manage dynamic scheduling changes, including forecasts, releases, and expedite requests, across multiple accounts
- Maintain and navigate customer-specific portals
- Coordinate with internal departments, including production, quality, logistics, and engineering, to obtain information needed to respond to customers
- Lead customer calls and address questions, including direct conversations required to resolve issues or manage expectations
- Track open items to closure and maintain accurate records of customer communications and commitments
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently and directly with customers, including on live calls
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Assertive and proactive approach to follow-up, with the ability to hold internal and external parties accountable to close out open items
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and maintain effective working relationships
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly, including ERP and customer portal platforms
Preferred
- Experience in customer service, order administration, or a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience with an ERP system
- Familiarity with AS9100 or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience using customer or supplier collaboration portals

1- Day Shift position- Hours are from 8:00am- 4:30pm- Monday through Friday- Overtime Work required depending on department demands. Must have knowledge in computer skills.
