TheĀ Manager, Epic MSO Applications oversees the management of the Epic MSO Applications team, with oversight over the following Epic applications: Tapestry Managed Care (Membership, Medical Management, and Core Administration). This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Epic software applications across the healthcare organization. This role will work closely with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient use of the Epic system to improve patient care, workflow efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.Ā Ā

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical managed services applications and workflowsĀ 

  • Proven leadership and team management skills to handle multiple projects and delegate to and direct staffĀ 

  • Strong management skills to oversee daily operations of the Epic application team, including system maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and supportĀ 

  • Ability to lead the implementation of new Epic modules and upgrades, ensuring timely and successful project completionĀ 

  • Ability to prioritize work efforts and adapt in a fast-paced environmentĀ 

  • Ability to provide support to their application analysts, managers must understand the issues and workflows in their area well enough to represent their users' needs to EpicĀ 

  • Ability to set clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the projectĀ 

  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter expertsĀ 

  • Collaboration skill to work with clinical and operational leadership to assess needs, translate workflows into Epic functionality, and provide strategic guidanceĀ

Required Experience

Required:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degreeĀ Ā 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diplomaĀ 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an analyst or manager roleĀ Ā 

Ā 

Preferred:Ā 

  • Certification in Epic TapestryĀ 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Epic applicationsĀ 

  • Minimum 2 years of management experienceĀ 

  • Strong understanding of medical managed services workflowsĀ Ā
