The RN Clinical Educator works under the supervision of the Director of Education to orient, educate, and train Home Health and Hospice Staff in accordance with standards, regulations, and best practice, using a variety of teaching methods. The Clinical Educator assists new and current staff in developing role clarity, professional role confidence, and proficiency. Operates as a change agent in the practice and learning environment, and assists with staff and unit development.

Required:

• BSN Degree
• Current California RN License in good standing
• Current CPR card
• Current California Driver’s License and valid auto insurance
• Evidence of professional growth
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in Home Health or Hospice setting
• Strong clinical background in Home Health or Hospice with recent patient care
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Virtual platforms and the ability to learn new technology and online systems quickly

Preferred:

• Experience with Netsmart Homecare Application
