The Company

Bolt Farm Treehouse exists to help couples slow down, reconnect, and strengthen their relationship through intentional, deeply restorative experiences. We are building a distinct brand centered on renewal, reconnection, and emotional transformation - creating beautiful, private environments that help people step out of the noise of everyday life and return to what matters most. More than a place to visit, Bolt Farm is designed to create meaningful change in the lives and relationships of the people we serve.

This is an exciting time to join Bolt Farm. As we continue to elevate the experience and build the team shaping what comes next, we are looking for people who want to do meaningful work inside a distinctive, growing company. For the right person, this is a chance to help build something special - a brand with real momentum, a clear mission, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Your Team

The spa team is a core part of the Bolt Farm guest experience and a meaningful driver of revenue. Through massage, facials, relaxation therapies, yoga, guided meditations, and other restorative experiences, this team helps turn a beautiful getaway into something far more memorable and transformational for guests.

This team is at an important point. The demand is there, the opportunity is real, and there is clear room to improve scheduling, utilization, team development, and execution. The Spa Manager will partner closely with the Director of Operations and collaborate across housekeeping, hosts, sales, and finance to bring more structure, smoother operations, and stronger performance to a function that matters deeply to both the guest experience and the business.

Your Role

As Spa Manager, you will lead the spa as both a people operation and a guest experience operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can organize practitioner schedules for strong occupancy, remove friction from execution, coach a mixed team of practitioners, and ensure the spa consistently delivers a high-touch, premium experience.

This role is especially compelling for a leader who wants real ownership. You will step into a team that needs a strong on-site champion—someone who can improve day-to-day execution, develop the team, tighten inventory and purchasing discipline, and help elevate the spa experience in a way that directly impacts both guest satisfaction and revenue. The right person will be structured, organized, comfortable working from a calendar, adaptable with technology, and energized by improving how things work.

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily performance of the spa, including practitioner scheduling, appointment flow, and treatment room utilization

  • Maximize occupancy and booking efficiency while reducing friction in execution for both guests and practitioners

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of spa practitioners across a mix of full-time and part-time staff

  • Maintain the tools, products, linens, and operational supplies needed for smooth, consistent service delivery

  • Partner with leaders across housekeeping, hosts, sales, and finance to keep the spa aligned with the broader guest experience and business goals

  • Support service quality, team training, and ongoing improvements to offerings, workflows, and standards

  • Track and improve key performance metrics, including guest feedback, therapist utilization, and upsell performance

  • Step in as a licensed, hands-on operator when needed to support service delivery and maintain standards

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ or more years of experience managing a spa team

  • Experience owning or influencing budgeting, purchasing, and inventory decisions

  • Experience leading in a high-touch, service-driven environment where guest experience standards matter

  • Ability to work onsite in Whitwell, Tennessee, with schedule flexibility that includes weekends and some holidays as business needs require

Nice to Have

  • CPR or First Aid certification

  • Active licensure in massage therapy and/or esthetics

  • Experience reading or working from a departmental P&L

  • Experience leading teams where practitioners have varied certifications and service capabilities

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, resort, or premium wellness environments
