Sonic Summary

The position is for an Ophthalmic Assistant in a busy practice, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
While previous ophthalmic assistant experience is preferred, candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn will be considered.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage patient registration and scheduling effectively.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, along with proficiency in computer systems, are essential for this position.
The salary for this role is not specified, but candidates should ideally have some experience in a healthcare setting.

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Ophthalmic Assistant experience preferred, but will train someone with a strong work ethic and desire to learn

Maintain a friendly and positive environment with patients and co-workers

Work in a flexible office and be able to handle assignments in an organized manner

Ability to work in a very busy practice and learn skills necessary with the possibility to earn certification

Be able to register & schedule patients

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and be a self-starter

Previous medical office experience in a health care setting is a plus

Exceptional customer service and communication skills both written and verbal

Strong computer skills, experience with electronic systems desirable or ability to learn
