Job DetailsJob Location: WICHITA, KS 67217Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Title: CNC Lathe Operator Wage: $21.00 - $23.00 Shift: 1st shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the department manager, 2 and 3 axis lathes with live tooling and other equipment to produce quality products on time. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices   ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Will run 2 axis and multi axis lathes  Will blend and deburr own parts as needed  Does own setups, may assist others with set-ups Checks first part to ensure quality before getting a QA first part buy Maintains clear and concise communication with all supervision verbally and handwritten tie in notes at the machines Maintain daily part run averages located inside each set-up book Maintain a clean work station including cleaning the inside and outside of machines at end of shift   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2 year experience in 2 and 3 axis lathes   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The knowledge, skills and abilities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to communicate machine problems, quality issues and other concerns or questions to departmental management. Basic math skills.
