PURPOSE OF POSITION:Â To provide comprehensive job search in job alignment activities. These include but are not limited to job coaching, job placement, and follow-along. To fulfill mission statement.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Employment Community Manager.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Â Work site supervision or client(s) in training.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- GED or high school diploma plus additional experience in business, marketing, social services, special education or other related fields required.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Services, Special Education or other related field preferred.
- Experience working with I/DD persons preferred.Â
- A valid driver’s license is required.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Work with individuals who have disabilities and or barriers to employment and participate in the achievement of their goals. Intiate agreements with business & industry on the basis of their needs. Coordinate problem solving activities with referring agencies and seek necessary technical assistance. Be responsible for as requested monthly documentation as required by Vocational Rehabilitation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the implementation of the Community Employment Program.
- Develop work sites with business and industry.
- Initiate agreements with business and industry on the basis of their needs and the capability to meet those needs through the Community Employment Program.
- Coordinate problem solving activities with referring agencies and seek necessary technical assistance to maintain employment.
- Be responsible for a request monthly documentation as required by Vocation Rehabilitation.Â
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume other responsibilities as requested by VP of Workforce Development.
- Attend weekly meeting as required.
- Be responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of clients served.
- Adhere to all safety polices and reports violations.
- Supports mission statement and activities of other departments.
- Supports the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to persons with disabilities and barriers to employment.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and confidentiality of records.
- Provide and facilitate job club activities.
- Driving to community and training locations to conduct job responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE/QUALITY STANDARDS:
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Quality and quantity of work performed.
- Attitude and overall effectiveness of working relations with clients, supervisors, and service providers.
- The manner in which duties and responsibilities, essential functions and job competencies are performed.Â

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
- Lift -- push/pull while standing - up to 10 pounds on a daily basis. Sometimes up to 50 pounds. Rarely over 50 pounds.
- Carry -- push/pull while moving - up to 20 pounds on a daily basis. Not every day, but sometimes up to 50 pounds. Rarely over 50 lbs.
