JOB SUMMARY:
Provide N/C programs for fabrication of machined parts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in CATIA V5/6 to program for 2 to 5 axis machines.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Efficiently program, test, and revise machine programming.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Selects machine type (2 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation) and cutting tool requirements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reverse engineer parts to create tools and models, models must be thorough and complete to verify safety, usability, and interferences prior to fabrication.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to meet a provided deadline on time.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work on a team and communicate effectively.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Quote time on parts.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to train others when needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide on machine support for program development.
EDUCATION:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Requires the use of complicated specifications and tasks. Two-year vocational training is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 3 years N/C programming experience or related machine shop experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to grease and noise.
