Job DetailsJob Location: Anchor Fabrication Kansas - Wichita, KS 67213Position Description: The Inventory/Kitting Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and processing incoming parts and materials. Pull inventory items required by jobs and issue in computer system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of job functions.  Cycle counting and auditing locations to maintain the process of inventory control.  Key Job Responsibilities: Performs physical counts on each part to ensure accuracy.  Research any discrepancies in count comparison.  Loads, unloads, and moves parts to proper stock location, while making sure the system & physical location match. Prepares kits for production by pulling and staging parts and quantities, issuing parts in the system to appropriate job.    Validate incoming completed parts from production to be stored in the warehouse on a continual basis by verifying parts to drawings, identifying part via marking and/or tag.  Cycle count inventory on a periodic basis, auditing warehouse locations to system.  Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsEducation and Work Experience Requirements: High school education or equivalent, required. 1 year of warehouse experience, preferred. 1 year of forklift experience, preferred. 1 year of computer experience, preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities. Must be able to follow directions and communicate clearly with other departments. Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: Ability to lift 50 pounds independently. Frequent standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and twisting required.
