How you'll make an impact in this role

Create personalized care plans that address physical, cognitive, and emotional deficits to help patients regain their independence and quality of life.
Implement evidence-based treatments using modern modalities while documenting each patient's progress to ensure a clear and accurate record of their recovery journey.
Lead family and caregiver education to provide the necessary support and training for a safe, successful transition during the patient's discharge.
Oversee and mentor the therapy team, including assistants and technicians, to maintain high standards of care and ensure every patient receives consistent, high-quality attention.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
