Job DetailsJob Location: Assembly - Wichita, KS 67203Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $35.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: QA - Quality ControlSummary: The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for administering the company quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements. Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect products, such as forgings, bars, sheets, castings, and strips, for conformity to customer specifications Use measuring instruments to examine products for flatness, straightness, and defects, such as cracks, slivers, or scars Mark defective areas with chalk or paint Verify dimensions of product, using micrometers, gauges, tapes, and templates Conduct hardness tests, using, hardness testing machines Reject products not meeting specifications Prepare reports covering materials scrapped or salvaged Communicates effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts Accepts and adapts easily to change Ensures that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement Operates job-related equipment with or without an accommodation Meets physical demands of job with or without an accommodation Other duties as assigned   Requirements: 2+ years of previous experience required; aircraft parts inspection preferred Knowledge of AS9100 Rev C preferred High School diploma or GED preferred Read, write, and speak English fluently Proficient with basic shop math Sense of urgency Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines Qualifications
