On the ground, dnata USA keeps 27 of the country’s major airports connected – both with each other and the world - including John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. You will

- Load and unload UPS flights.
- Lift cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. when loading and unloading aircraft, carts, and containers.
- Loading and unloading may require handling over 100 items for a single aircraft.
- Push and pull loaded and empty carts and containers during loading and unloading operations.
- Couple and uncouple carts and cargo container dollies.
- Ascend and descend jetway stairs while carrying cargo.
- Bend, stoop, and crawl to move and stack/unstack cargo in aircraft and containers.
- Stand for up to 4 hours in all weather conditions to load or unload cargo and direct traffic.
- Walk continuously to load and unload cargo from pallets, containers, carts, or conveyor belts.
- Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment.
- Drive and operate motorized equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders.
- Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels.
- Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data for weight and balance purposes.
- Count baggage and cargo being loaded and unloaded during operations.
- Connect support equipment to aircraft, such as PC Air and GPU.
- Use signalling devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew.
- Ensure compliance with dnata, TSA, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Obtain a valid driver license
- Ability to judge distance
- Ability to understand and follow safety instructions
- Ability to pass company, and Airport training classes
- Clear Airport SIDA & CBP
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Adhere to safety practices and programs
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to work flexible working hours (including weekends & holidays)
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs is required
