An opportunity to join our nonprofit and make an impact! The Director of Development leads the execution of KETCH’s fundraising strategy, with a primary focus on revenue generation, donor engagement, and sponsorship development. Responsible for building relationships and managing the donor pipeline, fundraising campaigns, developing volunteer support, and researching & grant writing. The Director gets to translate strategy into action – ensuring that fundraising efforts are coordinated, effective, and results-driven. M-F 8-4:30 – may also require evening and weekend hours. Hiring immediately. EOE

Requirements for Director of Development:

  • Five years of prior successful experience in raising funds for nonprofit organizations
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, communications, development or related degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less
