Overview
As an Extended Care Provider will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for students. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, monitoring students’ participation and behavior, and ensuring the overall well-being of the students.
- Watch and monitor students in an after-school program from 3:15pm-6:00pm Monday - Friday
- Plan educational activities and games to keep students engaged, both indoors and outdoors; Examples Activities: structured play, recess time, study time, quiet time, snack
- Check students in and out using the FACTs management system
- Create a safe environment for students to grow and learn
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe and respectful environment
- ​Oversight of any assistants needed

Requirements
- Commitment to Jesus Christ demonstrated in professional and person life
- Be well organized and a positive role model to students
- Be able to plan age-appropriate lessons and games
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (training in August at Trinity)
 Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with lesson planning
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child
