Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, customer-focused Delivery & Installation Driver to join our Wichita team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver, install, and support office equipment at customer locations. This position combines safe driving with hands-on equipment handling and basic technical setup, ensuring customers receive their solutions fully functional and ready to use.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate company vehicles (box trucks, vans) to deliver office equipment and supplies
• Load, transport, and unload heavy and sensitive equipment such as copiers, printers, and computer hardware
• Perform on-site installations, basic setup, and configuration of delivered equipment according to provided procedures
• Inspect delivery items for accuracy and damage; complete required delivery documentation and delivery confirmations
• Maintain efficient and accurate route delivery schedules
• Provide exceptional customer service: greet customers professionally, answer basic questions, and represent the company positively
• Assist with minor troubleshooting during installation; report complex technical issues to the appropriate technical team
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe vehicle and equipment
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Adhere to all safety, traffic, and company policies
Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy equipment (typically up to 75 lbs or more with assistance)
• Experience driving delivery vehicles (box trucks preferred)
• Basic technical aptitude — ability to follow instructions for equipment setup and minor troubleshooting
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending, and standing
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to safely handle and position large and heavy equipment
Work Environment
• Combination of warehouses, loading dock, and customer sites
• Exposure to varied weather conditions during deliveries
• Occasional interaction with IT staff and technicians
Schedule
• Full-time
• Location based in Wichita, KS
• Flexible start times based on delivery schedules
• May require occasional overtime
