Job Summary
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support equipment upkeep across Plant 1 and Plant 2 while assisting with general warehouse operations.Â
Function in the Job
Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Job Function
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues
- Read and interpret manuals and work orders
- Use hand/power tools and maintenance equipment
- Support warehouse operations (material handling, pulling orders, packaging)
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and yard trucks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Environment
Warehouse/Field setting; minimal temperature environmentRequired Skills

- Valid driver’s license
- 0–5 years of experience (maintenance or warehouse)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Maintenance or material handling experience
- High School Diploma or GED

Schedule: (4x10s)- Monday evening start at 8:30pm Pay: $17–$20/hr (DOE) + $3 shift differentialÂ
