Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Corporate HeadQuarters - Wichita, KS 67209Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Category: WarehouseMax Aerostructures is currently hiring a Packaging & Delivery Associate.   Primary job functions include: Delivers product to the customer and pick up material in the company truck Receive, pack, and ship items in a manner that meets all customer expectations Assisting with pulling inventory and preparing product for shipment Works with final inspection group to coordinate packaging and shipment of completed product from daily ship list Responsible for computer transactions for customer, fedx, UPS shipments that includes creation of bar code labels and shipping paperwork Monitor supplier status of completed orders that are ready for pickup Performs visual checks, counting of parts and verification activities against purchase order and certifications upon receipt Process and clocking of orders as necessary in ERP and MRP systems Moves product to next operation in accordance with the job traveler paperwork and stages in the appropriate department Helps with maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies in the area. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: A clean driving record and a valid driver's license, insurance. A friendly demeanor and personality.  Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick up operations. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Operate fork lifts and hand dolly to load and unload. Basic computer skills such as excel, outlook, and internet use for accessing FedX and UPS sites.
