Responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments and materials. This role ensures accuracy in packaging, labeling, and documenting inventory, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a company runner to pick up and deliver supplies.
  2. Receive products from vendors and prepare for re-packaging.
  3. Package product according to customer specifications.
  4. Manage time and efficiently operate under deadlines.
  5. Perform forklift operations on large shipments.
  6. Complete required carrier paperwork and as necessary contact carrier or transportation provider for product pick up.
  7. Generate customer computerized UPS or express tracking labels/invoices.
  8. Maintain and organize working area and packing supplies.
  9. Handle other shipping/receiving needs of the other departments within the company.
  10. Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of work area. 
  11. Restock products and handle warranty paperwork as needed.
  12. Perform receiving inspection as defined by the Repair Station Quality Assurance Manual.
  13. Various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Must possess and maintain a current and valid license
  • Meet the requirements of Airport Authority to be receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions
  • HS Diploma or equivalent, required. 
  • Have basic typing and computer skills. 
  • One to two years of shipping/receiving experience, preferred.  
  • Experience with International Shipping preferred.
  • Aviation parts experience, preferred. 
  • Forklift operation experience, preferred.
  • Able to work required schedule without deviation


Communication Skills:

 

Must be able to read and speak English.  Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.

 

Mathematical Skills:

 

Basic math skills.

 

Reasoning Ability

 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Computer Skills:

 

Basic computer aptitude preferred. 

 

Physical Requirements:


Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation,  and reaching. Occasionally lifting up to 5 lbs.


Work Environment:


Frequent exposure to general office conditions.

Exposure to aircraft exhaust and solvents.
