Job DetailsJob Location: PHOENIX PAPER WICKLIFFE LLC - Wickliffe, KY 42087Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I) Mechanic. Summary: This position is an opportunity to be part of a stable, rapidly expanding organization that offers a tremendous amount of growth potential. The successful candidates will provide effective support for specific projects in the Maintenance department. This is a multi-craft position with primary Electrical and Instrumentation experience, Mechanical work may be assigned. Key responsibilities of the E/I Mechanic position include, but are not limited to, the following: Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment. Inspects and tests electrical/instrumentation equipment as required. Installs pneumatic, electronic, and other instrumentation equipment. Installs fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment. Disassembles malfunctioning electrical/instrumentation equipment, troubleshoots and tests mechanisms and circuitry for defects. Operates distributive controls and programmable controllers to diagnose control problems. Assists with planning layouts, running conduit, wiring and tubing both new and existing installations. Assists with developing and carrying out preventative maintenance programs. Performs mechanical maintenance tasks. Assists with any other duties/projects given by supervisor(s). Education and/or Experience: Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Computer Electronics or related field or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Must have knowledge and experience with electronic and pneumatic process instrumentation, A/C and D/C variable speed drives and industrial power distribution systems. Must be safety conscious. Must be highly motivated and able to work unsupervised. Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs. regularly. Must be able to distinguish colors. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills. Must be willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
