We are seeking an analytical Inside Estimator with a strong background as a Renovation Project Manager to serve as our technical powerhouse in the office.
What You’ll Do (The Role)
This is a 100% office-based role—zero site traffic, zero field driving. You will take raw data collected by our field Sales Consultants (marked-up photos, property info, baseline scopes) and engineer them into exact, ready-to-build project blueprints. Because you have hands-on experience running renovation sites, you know exactly how projects come together on the ground and how to price them with absolute accuracy.
- Analyze Field Data: Review marked-up photos, property details, and field notes provided by our Sales Consultants to fully understand project requirements.
- Build Detailed Renovation Scopes: Translate basic sales documentation into a highly structured, line-item Scope of Work (SOW) that our production crew can follow seamlessly.
- Calculate Accurate Estimates: Utilize our estimating software and CRM to compute precise costs for materials, labor, permits, and trade partners on home renovations.
- Draft Project Layouts: Produce clear, accurate project sketches based entirely on photos and property dimensions provided by the sales team.
- Quality Control Safety Net: Spot potential job site complications, missing field data, or constructability issues before the contract is finalized.
Who You Are (The Fit)
You are a construction professional who knows the ins and outs of residential remodels but prefers a stable, focused office environment over field travel. You align with our founding belief in radical transparency, ensuring every scope and estimate you produce is clear, detailed, and honest.
- Prior Project Manager Experience (Required): You must have previous hands-on experience as a Project Manager in renovation construction / residential remodeling. You know how home renovations actually get built on site.
- Renovation Estimating Mastery: Proven track record estimating residential home renovations (kitchens, baths, full-home remodels), understanding true material/labor costs, lead times, and margins.
- Visual Translator: Exceptional ability to translate site photos and property data into precise line-item scopes and clean digital layouts.
- Tech-Savvy & Detail-Obsessed: Proficient with estimating software, CRM systems, and digital drawing tools. You take pride in producing airtight, mistake-free estimates.
- Office-Minded: You prefer a consistent, professional office setting where you can put your headphones on, focus, and drive results.
