Job Summary:
Supports self perform preconstruction efforts by independently performing analysis through detailed quantity development, production evaluation, cost studies, and constructability assessment across multiple SPW scopes. Leads portions of the SPW preconstruction process by reviewing design documents, validating production rates, analyzing system and method alternatives, and contributing recommendations that align scope with cost, schedule, and execution strategy. Coordinates with field leaders, trade partners, and project teams to evaluate feasibility and risk. Provides guidance to team members while applying expanding SPW technical expertise to strengthen preconstruction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates drawings, specifications, and models to define SPW scope parameters, production implications, constructability needs, and risk considerations.
Develops detailed quantity assessments, cost studies, production analyses, and comparison summaries for multiple SPW scopes.
Engages with field leaders to review and validate production rates, equipment requirements, crew compositions, and labor plans.
Participates in constructability evaluations related to SPW methods, logistics, material handling, and sequencing contributing technical observations related to SPW execution.
Contributes to the development of conceptual and detailed SPW budgets, including pricing narratives, assumptions, and qualifications while helping document SPW assumptions, clarifications, and risk items within the estimate.
Prepares sections of SPW preconstruction deliverables such as cost summaries, risk evaluations, production studies, and method alternatives and assists in leveling vendor or supplier pricing for SPW work and in areas where it interfaces with trades or materials.
Provides informal mentorship and technical guidance to other SPW preconstruction staff on estimating methods, production evaluation, and SPW processes.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
4–6 years of experience in SPW estimating, production planning, construction engineering, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
