Job Description:
We are seeking a Seasonal Cleaner/Maintenance Worker to join our team from May through October. This role is essential to ensuring The Point remains a clean, safe, and inviting environment for both guests and staff. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the venue, addressing minor repairs, and assisting with general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and emptying trash bins.
• Ensure all dining and common areas are clean and well-maintained throughout operating hours.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Work collaboratively with the team to uphold The Point’s high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or maintenance preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic understanding of general maintenance and repair tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
