Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for providing great customer service on the telephone and in person. This position must also have a complete understanding of The Villages Home Warranty program while interacting with homeowners on warranty issues. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls.
  • Interact in person and on the telephone with homeowners addressing warranty/non-warranty items.
  • Enter work orders into database.
  • Enter work order completion dates and any details for accurate tracking purposes.
  • Correspond with homeowners on any follow up that is necessary.
  • Understand the Home Warranty manual and be responsible for keeping all information current and up to date.
  • Interact with the Builder and Construction Leaders regarding issues with homeowners.
  • Be willing to help fellow workers with extra workload.
  • Monitor completion and timeliness of completed service requests.
  • Periodically attend a meeting that may be before or after normal working hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have computer knowledge consisting of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and AS400.
  • Must be diligent about being on time for work and make sure all work is done before leaving.
