What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as the primary relationship owner
- Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs
- Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of borrowers
- Structure, negotiate, and manage commercial loans and credit facilities
- Partner with credit teams for underwriting and loan approvals
- Monitor portfolio performance including risk, renewals, and compliance
- Identify and mitigate credit and portfolio risks
- Drive new business through networking, referrals, and market outreach
- Cross-sell banking solutions including treasury, wealth, and private banking services
- Collaborate internally with credit, operations, and product teams
- Ensure loan documentation accuracy and compliance
Experience You Will Need:
- 2–10+ years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or relationship management roles
- Proven experience in managing and growing commercial client portfolios
- Strong experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment
- Demonstrated ability in structuring and negotiating commercial loans and credit facilities
- Track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, business owners)
- Experience ensuring loan documentation accuracy, compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Strong collaboration experience with credit teams, underwriting, and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
