a2b Fulfillment is a fast-growing, third-party provider of distribution support services, including Order Fulfillment, Contact Center Solutions, and a vast array of Value-Added services. We are currently recruiting for the position of Packing associate for our Hanover Township, PA location.

All candidates must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

THE ROLE

The Packing Associate uses a computer equipped with our pack out software to pack orders into the appropriate shipping packaging. Responsible for packing items into correct packaging and scanning all the items on the order to ensure it is accurate before going to the shipping process.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Use a computer, scanner, and printer equipped with our pack out software to pack order inappropriate packaging
Ensure accuracy of orders by scanning items before packaging
Print label to apply on package before moving package down the fulfillment line
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Warehouse experience (preferred)
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
Continually meet assigned production standards.
Trained and certified to operate any required equipment.
Basic computer knowledge

Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend for extended amount of time
Work at a quick pace
Must have ability to lift or move at least 40lbs
Must be able to work independently and as a team
Self-directed and self-motivated
Comply with company attendance policies
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
Be at least 18 years old

All candidates must undergo a criminal background check and drug screening.
