Job Description SummaryÂ
The General Production Labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operationsÂ
Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as requiredÂ
Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestionÂ
Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptlyÂ
Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line supportÂ
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipmentÂ
Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant proceduresÂ
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructionsÂ
Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirementsÂ
Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policiesÂ
Use required PPE and follow safe work practicesÂ
Perform other duties as assignedÂ
Physical Demands and Work RequirementsÂ
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftÂ
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motionsÂ
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as requiredÂ
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistanceÂ
Ability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environmentÂ
