Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Supervise the daily operations of the Production and Receiving departments.
- Ensureall production and receiving requirements specified in the PWS are met.
- Maintain onsite presence during normal working hours.Â
- Oversee material kitting, production workflow, sustainment, receiving, and routing of incoming materials.Â
- Supervise receiving functions, including receiving incoming shipments, unloading materials,processingand routing inventory, and coordinating movement to staging and stow locations.Â
- Verify shipment documentation against containers, packing slips, and labels.Â
- Report overages, shortages, damaged items, discrepancies, and missing materials.Â
- Ensure proper segregation of material by type, to include equipment, consumable supplies, narcotics, pilferable items, HAZMAT, and other controlled material categories asrequired.Â
- Generate labels and direct movement of materials to staging or stow areas using automated systems.Â
- Review production and receiving documentation for completeness and accuracy and obtain missing information as necessary to resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, or omissions.Â
- Drive daily production throughput andreceiveperformance requirements.Â
- Coordinate with warehouse operations,logistics, and inventory teams to ensure efficient workflow andtimelyprocessing.Â
- Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health requirements in production, receiving, and associated work areas.Â
- Ensure proper issuance and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) asrequired.Â
- Support safety compliance inspections in production areas, maintenance shops, and office spaces.Â
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risk.
- Support contractor personnel safety and occupational health training requirements.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
- Minimumof two (2) years of experience in management within production (kitting) operations and personnel management.Â
- Minimum of two (2) years supervising at least ten (10) personnel performing similar or related work.Â
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in production settings, including material kitting operations, general supply activities, receiving, inventory management, and warehousing.Â
- Knowledge of warehouse storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods that support efficient production operations.Â
- Knowledge of supply functions, production operations, program requirements, and work methods.Â
- Knowledge of production methods, procedures, material handling techniques, receiving, kitting, sustainment, and preservation.Â
- Knowledge of systemsutilizedin providing material support.Â
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Â
- Experienceutilizingwarehouse management systems (WMS).
Additional Requirements
- Mustbe able to work onsite during normal business hours.Â
- Must be able to work in warehouse, production floor, receivingdocks, and staging environments.Â
- Strong leadership and personnel supervision skillsare important.
- Strong organizational and documentation review skills.Â
- Ability to enforce PPE and workplace safety requirements.
