DAY Shift

The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinatordemonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or

  • MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

  • Registered nursing License (Required)

  • BLS required within 90 days of hire

  • Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.

  • Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

  • NIH within 1 year of hire

Experience

  • 18 Months of acute care RN experience(required)

  • Experience in Telemetry and or Medical

  • Previous charge experience preferred

  • Acute Care nursing background preferred
