JOB SUMMARY
The Bar Supervisor is responsible for the overseeing the overall bar department during their shift. He/she must have thorough knowledge of policy and procedures and ensures they are strictly enforced and within compliance. They ensure adequate levels of staffing; covering shifts when necessary. The Bar Supervisor works closely with the Bar Manager ensuring company budgets are maintained.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform as a working supervisor by spending the majority of time on the floor.Â
- Responsible for assisting in the guidance, coaching, scheduling, and training the Bar Department personnel
- Responsible for working toward goals of the department by overseeing team and ensuring that they complete their responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or a GED. Bar Supervisor must possess prior experience in bartending, guest services and preferably experience with liquor inventory control and supervisory experience. Must be knowledgeable of Michigan Liquor Control Commission Laws.
