Overview:

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, in Williamsburg, VA, is currently seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. This is a Part Time position with rotating shifts.

Hours

• Part Time, approximately 24 hours/week

• Rotating shifts, with potential shift times between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, primarily Monday - Friday, and one weekend per month

Overview

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Education

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• BLS

Experience

• Previous patient care experience (Strongly Preferred)
