• Support daily operations and product development activities Â
• Perform process definition (PD) audits, file PDs, and consult with specialists and engineers on updates as neededÂ
• Support troubleshooting efforts by participating in root cause analysis exercises, assisting in trials, measuring samples, and analyzing dataÂ
• Participate in continuous improvement projects pertaining to safety, scrap reduction, and increased productivityÂ
• Support project development by brainstorming ideas, creating drawings, obtaining quotes from machine shops, and testing prototypesÂ
• Work with product development on design reviews by cross-referencing dimensions, collecting and analyzing data, and providing feedback on process improvementsÂ
• Help implement new quality tests including designing fixtures, gauges, and completing Gauge R&RsÂ
• Support training efforts by creating Job Breakdowns and One Point Lessons for manufacturing associatesÂ
Minimum QualificationsÂ
• Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree programÂ
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
• Good communication skillsÂ
• Time management skillsÂ

Preferred QualificationsÂ
• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical EngineeringÂ
• Experience with statistical analysis and data collectionÂ
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Â
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)Â
• Previous internship or co-op experience in manufacturing environmentÂ
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsÂ
• Knowledge of quality control principles and methodologiesÂ
