This role will manage approximately 40 FTEs in the areas of Resource Pool, RN Hospital Supervisors, and Monitoring Center at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center

The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation. ​

Shift: Days (flexible)

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, evaluations, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 yrs or more of RECENT Nursing Leadership in a acute care hospital setting REQUIRED

• Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED

• RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED

Education

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or

• RN-Master’s Degree

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed facility featuring the latest healthcare technologies, serving Williamsburg and the surrounding community.
