Wise Path Recovery Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services (ARS), is expanding access to high-quality, person-centered substance use disorder treatment across West Virginia. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Team Management

  • Must be a strong leader with a focus on employee engagement & the patient experience
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for clinical, recovery, and program staff.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Foster a trauma-informed, accountable, and mission-aligned workplace culture.
  • Oversee performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes.

Program Operations & Oversight

  • Direct daily program operations to ensure safety, quality, and consistency of care.
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and workflows aligned with ARS standards.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to ensure evidence-based, individualized treatment delivery.
  • Support staffing plans, scheduling, and program-level operational needs.

Compliance, Quality & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with West  Virginia licensing requirements, Joint Commission standards, and all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain survey readiness and documentation integrity across all program areas.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, corrective action plans, and grievance resolution.
  • Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.

Collaboration & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with ARS leadership, admissions, and clinical teams to support census growth and continuity of care.
  • Serve as a visible leader within the facility and a professional representative in the local community.
  • Support referral relationships and community outreach efforts as needed.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in substance use disorder treatment, healthcare,  business management, facility operations 
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, management, or other relevant  discipline strongly preferred
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role with direct reports
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards (Joint Commission experience strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive program performance.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).


Work Conditions & Expectations

  • Full-time, exempt, on-site leadership role in a 24/7 treatment environment.
  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Ability to move throughout the facility and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Limited travel may be required for training or leadership meetings.
