UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our EVS team. This is a full-time evening shift position, with weekend and holiday rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, and equipment are properly cleaned according to the procedures established by the Environmental Services Department. Support the shift supervisor by working with and coordinating the activities of assigned Environmental Services Aides. We offer competitive wages, a total-rewards benefit package, and a great leadership team who appreciate their employee’s dedication hard work!


Responsibilities:

  • In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor.
  • Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
  • Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments.
  • Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area.
  • Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor.
  • Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
  • Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures.



  • HS Diploma/GED preferred
  • 2 years relevant experience required


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34
