Job DetailsJob Location: ASSA ABLOY Fenestration Williamsport - Williamsport, MD 21795Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: 1st shiftJob Category: ManufacturingJob Requirements As the Commercial Team Lead, you must be responsible, punctual and motivated to coordinate the activities of Associates engaged in producing hinge assemblies for windows. You must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote a positive company culture. Responsibilities Provide direction and leadership to production staff on 4 Bar assembly line, including promoting safety in all we do; managing performance; addressing disciplinary issues;  assisting in hiring; communicating information to and from direct reports; ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing goals/objectives; administrative processing; and, maintaining trust and confidentiality Demonstrate leadership ability and foresight to plan and delegate work in advance and respond appropriately throughout the day as changes occur Organize and coordinate activities within the manufacturing operation to meet or exceed the facility and corporate goals Ensure quality parts are produced and delivered on time that meets customer specifications Work with supervisor to project staffing for daily and future production needs Coach and facilitate problem solving among production staff Promote continuous improvement involvement along with timely completion of all corrective actions assigned Consistently monitor machinery, processes and work cell layouts in order to recommend improvements that yield increases in profit and quality levels and decreases potential safety hazards Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications - Education & Experience Minimum two (2) years’ experience as lead in a manufacturing setting/ or equivalent commensurate practice Some college in a manufacturing related discipline preferred;  Minimum four (4) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment Qualifications - Skills & Competencies Leadership skills including ability to maintain confidentiality Decision making and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to achieve desired results by influencing peer groups within the facility  Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement programs.
