Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum; an Associate's degree preferred; specialized bank training. May require S.A.F.E. Act certification.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact consumer loan and secondary market documents; a thorough knowledge of lending policies and procedures; proficient keyboarding skills; proficient computer skills.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in related mortgage position normally required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the mortgage loan operations function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information; review closed loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor, agency, and regulatory requirements, verify signed and executed closing documents, including notes, mortgage/dees of trust, and closing disclosures
