Associate Director of Corporate Compliance

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually

The Arc Erie County New York is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Corporate Compliance to help lead our agency’s Corporate Compliance Program. In this leadership role, you’ll partner with the Director of Quality Improvement & Corporate Compliance to ensure regulatory compliance, oversee internal audits, analyze organizational trends, and help drive continuous quality improvement across the agency.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and strengthen the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Oversee the internal audit process to ensure adherence to OPWDD, OMH, SED, OCFS regulations and ensure corrective action plans are completed
  • Analyze compliance data and identify trends
  • Coordinate with regulatory and independent auditors
  • Assist with compliance investigations and self-disclosures
  • Monitor regulatory changes and educate agency staff
  • Partner with IT to improve compliance and electronic health record processes
  • Supervise the Corporate Compliance Manager
  • Support agency-wide quality improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, Health Administration, or related field with 2+ years of management/administrative experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Administration, or related field with 5+ years of management/administrative experience
  • Auditing or quality assurance experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience interpreting regulations and implementing compliance programs

                                                              PLUS

  • Knowledge of not-for-profit business model/IDD programs and funding regulations. Demonstrated capability to oversee a schedule of regulatory audits for OPWDD, OMH, SED, and OCFS and implementation of actionable corrective action plans. Thorough knowledge of OPWDD, OMH, SED and/or OCFS regulations.
  • Considerable knowledge of corporate policy development and implementation; a good working knowledge of information management and computer support; ability to provide effective support to management at all levels. MS Office proficiency and strong comfort level with statistical data and analysis. Ability to grasp concepts of Federal, State, and County regulatory requirements.
  • Valid NYS driver's license
