Position Now Available: Career Coach

Overview

Our Career Coach position works one on one with individuals with a disability and aid in common areas of employment services (job readiness, job development, job coaching, etc.)

Shift: Full Time; 40 hours per week

Pay rate: $23.50/hr.

Key Duties

• Will develop career exploration opportunities, job shadows, work-based learning experiences, paid or unpaid internships, and pre-post-employment service planning
• Assists individuals in attaining employment opportunities to fit their personal transition and career goals.
• Visits worksites to assess performance and progression of individuals’ workload.
• Maintains Department of Labor guidelines for work experience and career exploration for students and individuals with disabilities

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree PLUS (1) years full time, paid, direct service experience

OR

• High school diploma PLUS (3) years full time, paid, direct service experience
• Valid NYS Driver’s License w/ approved record
• Professional certification is a plus
