Imaging Assistant / Technologist Assistant - Mammography

Location: Williamsville Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a proactive Technologist Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will keep our diagnostic imaging schedules running smoothly and ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for. This is a perfect opportunity for someone eager to support a fast-paced clinical team and deliver high-quality patient care in women's health. Great opportunity to start a career in health services.

What You’ll Do

Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and assist them safely into the scanning room.
Flow & Efficiency: Prepare scanning rooms between patients, sanitizing, re-stocking supplies for the day to keep technologists running on time.
Schedule Management: Monitor daily schedules, manage patient hand-offs, and adjust to real-time changes.
Team Support: Provide support to the technologists and fellow co-workers as needed and follow all safety and HIPAA guidelines.

What You Bring

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 12+ months of experience in diagnostic radiology, another imaging modality, or a clinical patient care environment (preferred) but we are willing to train eager candidates looking to start a career in healthcare.
Skills: Strong communication, basic computer skills, and a calm presence in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Needs: Ability to stand, walk, and handle heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. max; frequently up to 50 lbs.).
