  • 1st shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

路 Participate on/help facilitate site safety committee meetings and actions.

路 Participate in/complete risk assessments and JSP鈥檚 as assigned by site HSE (Process, Behavior, PPE, etc.).

路 Complete various site HSE floor activities/inspections as assigned by site HSE. Examples include, but are not limited to:

o Spill Control/Storm Water Pollution inspections

o Hazardous/Universal Waste Storage area maintenance, transportation, and inspections (Satellite and Accumulation Storage locations)

o Fire Extinguisher/Emergency Exit/Emergency Lighting inspections

o Eye wash/shower stations inspections

o First Aid/AED stations maintenance and inspection

o Spill Kit supply maintenance and inspections

o Emergency response drills

o Annual audiometric testing coordination

o Secondary container labeling (GHS/HAZCOM) audits

o Lockout Tagout procedure audits/edits

o LPA Safety Audits

o Implement safe start and other safe start activities

o Maintain Environmental tracking

o Train and manage Irradiation department and be able to obtain an RSO certification.

o Other Site HSE/BBS audits

路 Assist HSE and safety committee in investigations of employee accidents/near miss reporting and documenting in incident reporting database.

路 Assist with maintaining floor waste/scrap locations, transportation, and logs/HSEDM reporting.

路 Participate in New Hire Safety Orientation sections as assigned by site HSE.

路 Assist HSE related floor toolbox shares/refresher trainings with employees and log training records.

路 Participate in/reinforce Consequence Thinking/Zero & Beyond training.

路 Conduct forklift training/re-certification for site employees as needed.

路 Assist with maintaining HSE information on TIER Boards.

路 Assist site HSE with ISO 1400 & 45001 initiatives.

路 Other various HSE related activities as assigned by site HSE.

Requirement(s):

路 Production floor experience in a manufacturing setting

路 Forklift Operator experience

路 Passion for safety

路 Experience training other operators

路 Associates degree preferred

路 1-3 years of experience working in EHS
