Schedule: Flexible Availability – All Three Shifts
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

As a Youth Support Worker - SUB, you will play an important role in supporting adolescents in a structured residential setting by providing supervision, guidance, encouragement, and therapeutic support.

What You’ll Do
The Youth Support Worker - SUB provides direct care and support to residents while helping maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured residential environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
Youth Support & Daily Care
• Provide direct supervision and support to up to five residents
• Assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household routines
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings
• Build positive relationships with residents through encouragement and mentorship
• Support residents in developing life skills and independence
Therapeutic Support & Team Collaboration
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans
• Support behavior management strategies and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with treatment teams and coworkers to provide consistent care
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
• Respond to challenging situations with patience, professionalism, and composure
Documentation & Program Support
• Maintain accurate resident records, progress notes, and incident reports
• Communicate important information with team members
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
• Support a safe and respectful residential environment

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in a group setting
OR
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field unrelated to social work or psychology with six months of experience working with individuals with I/DD in a group setting
OR
• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field
Additional Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license required
• Successful completion of Physical & Drug Screening
• Must pass Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances
• Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing stairs
