Job Description:
 The Treatment Home Program Supervisor oversees daily operations and quality of the Treatment Home IOS and Flex programs, ensuring youth receive safe, individualized, and clinically appropriate care. The role involves collaboration with families, staff, and Child Family Teams while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and agency standards. The Supervisor also manages Case Management staff, supporting performance, accountability, and consistent high-quality service delivery.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
Oversee daily operations of the Treatment Home IOS and Flex programs, ensuring services align with individualized treatment plans and clinical standards.
Coordinate and monitor case management and support staff, including review of documentation for quality, timeliness, and compliance.
Provide supervision, training, and support to Treatment Home parents, promoting consistency, safety, and therapeutic care.
Collaborate with Child Family Teams and community partners, ensuring meaningful family and caregiver involvement.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid, CSOC, licensing, and agency requirements, including accurate documentation and billing.
Supervise and develop staff through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
Oversee crisis response, safety planning, incident reporting, and coordination with emergency and higher levels of care.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred fields include Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
Relevant foster care experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred degree.
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with youth with emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
Experience in community-based, residential, treatment home, or intensive in-home services preferred.
Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and youth development.
Familiarity with New Jersey CSOC, Medicaid-funded services, and Child Family Team (CFT) models.
Ability to supervise, coach, and support clinical staff and Treatment Home parents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities.
Proven ability to collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Work Environment and Expectations
Combination of office-based work, community-based activities, and home visits.
Evening or on-call availability may be required based on program needs.
Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times.
