Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Willis, TX 77318Weisinger Incorporated is seeking a Rig Hand I to join our Commercial Services team at our Willis, Texas location.This role supports daily job site operations by assisting with tools, moving pipe, mixing materials, and helping the crew complete projects safely and efficiently. Job Summary Perform or assists in performance of operating the job site, including handling tools, moving pipe and mixing job materials in a manner to achieve optimal safety, efficiency, quality, reliability, staff morale and teamwork by performing the duties listed in the following section. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn about basic maintenance of pump rig including mud tanks, mud pumps, draw works, engine and supporting equipment (including crew truck, forklift, trailers, air compressors, test engines, light towers etc) before, during and after shift. Operate vehicles and comply with all Department of Transportation rules and regulations. When moving equipment, observe job site and assist as needed to prevent damage and destruction of equipment or property. Use handling tools such as tongs and wrenches. Store and care for all tools, spare parts, materials and supplies. Perform basic housekeeping including but not limited to disposing of garbage and organizing job site, crew truck and employee lockers before, during and after shift. Mix drilling fluid, cement and chemicals. Operate rig under direct supervision of pump rig operator. Follow all safety regulations, policies, principles and procedures. Use proper Personal Protective Equipment. Abide by on-call schedule, which includes all crews in the commercial service department on a rotating basis. Must be available by phone and be readily available to report to work as needed at all times.
