N.C. Programmer

We are currently looking for an NC Programmer with a strong background in programming CNC machines and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves creating and optimizing CNC programs, ensuring precision and quality in the production of parts. The NC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to produce high-quality components that meet specifications.

Responsabilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and other CNC equipment.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure accurate part specifications.
• Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Operate bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot programming issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge of machinery to perform basic maintenance and adjustments.
• Assist in the setup of CNC machines, including loading materials and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating forklifts and other equipment.

Your profile

• Proficiency in programming Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plastics injection molding preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math principles for precise calculations in programming.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using bore gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
