WHAT YOU'LL DO

Help build out and lead a formalized critical care service — developing protocols and case-management standards in collaboration with our ER and specialty teams
Manage complex and critical patients requiring advanced monitoring, stabilization, and intervention
Effectively communicate and work with staff members in a positive team driven approach to maximize patient care and client satisfaction
Communicate with referring veterinarians
Participate in ongoing professional development. Our specialists work closely with developing doctors through mentorship — including our structured EDGE program, which offers ER doctors hands-on and didactic rotations through specialty services.

REQUIREMENTS

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC)
Ability to attain VT Veterinary License
