Medical Courier (Berlin/Barre)

About the Role:

As a Medical Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of surgical instruments to healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering items promptly and efficiently, while  adhering to all safety protocols. Your attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures will be essential in this role. You will be an integral part of the healthcare system.  This position is based at a remote location in the Barre/Berlin area and does not commute to the office in Williston on a daily basis.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in medical courier or related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Familiarity with GPS and routing software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver surgical instruments to healthcare facilities
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery while.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of surgical instruments to various healthcare facilities. You will  utilize your communication and customer service skills to interact with healthcare professionals and support staff. Familiarity with GPS and routing software will be beneficial in optimizing delivery routes. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will contribute to the overall success of the courier service.

Location:

This position is based at a remote location in the Barre/Berlin area and does not commute to the office in Williston on a daily basis.
