Job DetailsJob Location: WILLISTON, FL 32696Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st Shift Summary/Objective The Saw Shop Associate operates cutting saws and processes material requests as required by manufacturing. ANCORP recognizes two levels of skills and experience which are outline below.   Essential Functions LEVEL I Operate automated and manual metal cutting saws. Cut raw material to length for manufacturing per specification and/or work order. Measures work to verify conformance to specifications. Deburring, and rinsing of cut products. Maintains coolant levels for adequate cutting performance. Monitors saw performance and blade life. Transfer cut raw material to manufacturing. Communication with manufacturing, quality, supervision, and management. Other duties as assigned.   LEVEL II Performs job changeover on saws; ensures proper blade, speeds, pressures, and lengths are set and in use. Install saw blades and set saw blade tension and cutting speed for the specified operation. Maintains saw performance, and maintenance and performs preventative maintenance. Operation of forklift and necessary equipment for material movement. Loading, unloading, and material receiving and inspection for verification. Assists with inventory counts using both the XRF analyzer and MRP system. Other duties as assigned.   Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Educations and Experience High school diploma, GED and/or Technical School Graduate or industry recognized certification. Skills and Competencies Must have basic math/trigonometry skills. Able to read, write, and have a working knowledge of English. A knowledge of technical drawings is required.
