ABOUT THE ROLE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently.
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service.
  • Make recommendations and educate guests on cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverage offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards throughout the bar area.
  • Process guest payments and operate POS systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking, and replenishment of bar supplies.
  • Collaborate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and payment processing.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS systems.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and classic cocktails.
  • Experience with inventory management and bar operations.
