Position Overview Reporting to the Production Manager, the Stainless Steel Welder II: Performs MIG and TIG welding, polishing, metal finishing, Material rigging and handling for crane and forklift, and assembly. Uses a broad range of power tools, hand tools and auto/semi-auto equipment. Able to read and interpret a variety of drawings and work instructions. Adjust work stations and area according to workpiece size and shape. Performs basic recordkeeping as required. Accurately fill out timesheet. Stainless steel welders are required to comply with departmental safety requirements, contribute to quality improvements and interact/communicate within the department as a function of the position. Certification for various skills may be required for employment or career advancement.  | |
