Job Summary

 

As a Material Handler providing support expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care and customer service by sharing your talent in your chosen field. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience with material management/exchange cart system
  • Ability to understand inventory documentation
  • Able to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
  • Able to demonstrate communication skills by conveying information in a simple, easy to understand manner without losing the core message

Experience:

  • One (1) year experience working with medical supplies and equipment in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Required License/Certification:

  • Valid driver's license

Work Environment:

  • Clean, well-lit, well-ventilated work environment
